Description Nicely done 1920's watercolor of a gorge in British Columbia
by well listed British artist. Lingford lived in Bristol and London and held studio there. He founded the Art society
"Bristol-Savages" which still exists. He traveled in Britain and ended up in Canada where he died in 1933 after several bouts with bad health. His works are in collections through out England and British Columbia. Artwork has been conservation matted and conservation glazing used, presented in a black wood frame of the era.
